My sprouts this year are very advanced & we are eating them, some are bigger than normal. Do I strip off all the leaves? & will they last for weeks like this? [IMG]

When I used to grow sprouts, (a few years ago now) I always went for the ones that cropped in Dec to Mar.
I think you can get early ones now, but in those days it was always said that they needed a frost on them before they were ready.
The seed shouldn't be sown too early, sow according to the dates on the packet, and the ground should be firm.
I wouldn't strip off green leaves, yellow ones can go.

    Hello Stillearning
Sorry I'm clueless about sprouts although I do like nice little ones with a bit of salt on them :D

I just wanted to say 'Hi' and welcome to the forum...I'm sure other people will help you out with your problem as it's a nice friendly place here.

Hi stillearning and a warm welcome from me too.

Try a good pinch of thyme when you cook your sprouts, makes them taste even better.
