Hi everyone, I recently moved into a new home with large garden. I have only ever grown plants in pots before, so I dont really know what Im doing, but will enjoy "having a go". Hoping to meet some gardening buddies here, and hopefully get some advise and tips.

Hi lindie and a warm welcome from me too.

You'll enjoy it here on GC, and as Helen has already mentioned, there are so many nice folk here to help you. Just ask if you want to know something and somebody will know the answer and tell you.

Hi Lindie and a very warm welcome to GC from me also! [IMG]
Tip! the best 1 I can give you is to look at the garden projects, Woo has 1 on going and it may give you some ideas to what you may want to change in your garden. [IMG]
Also look at August in the members gallery as well, you can get some ideas as to what you may want to grow as well. [IMG]
Best tip of all is to enjoy your stay with us and happy gardening [IMG]

Hi to you all, thanks for the welcome. Its a great site and Im learning lots. Had some success already this year, my flowers are blooming and also some things in the greenhouse, cucumber (only 1 but its a good un), peppers, chillis, aubergines are doing well, tomatoes not so good,(tiny but tasty). The fruit trees not so good, although tons of fruit, the plums have brown patches all over, the pear tree fell over. But the apples are great, more than I know what to do with. [IMG] Will have to go on "The Apple Diet"
