    Hi everyone.
I am new to the site although not to gardening which is becoming more complusive the older I get! I am looking for a tall grass/non evasive bamboo to site on its own in a sunny but fairly exposed site in neutral soil. I would like it to be approx 5/6 foot. Has anyone any ideas?

Hi, Pammie, and welcome to our gardening family.

I can't help you with the grasses because I am too dry here and my bamboo is rather sad compared to our friends in England, but there are those out there who can advise you.

Hope you enjoy your stay with us!

No such thing as a non invasive bamboo. Eventually they SPREAD. Miscanthus varieties are far better behaved and come in all sizes from 2 foot to 12 foot.

Thanks from you all. Its nice to feel so welcomed. I will try the Miscanthus rather than the bamboo I think.
