No Mira,I wouldn't want to drink it..........but people do fall in occasionaly lol.

 

What do you think, some of the water flows down from Hauxton Mill (current furor about contamination from chemical works which used to be next to the Mill). I reside in the area and don't consider it that serious, but you know what some people are like. Look to see if there are fish in the river, they live there 24/7, not just dipping their fingers in for a few minutes.

 

Define clean. Tap water clean or Thames clean? Or Thames 30 years ago "clean"? I think I've seen fish in the Cam. Students certainly jump into the river, but then students aren't that fussy...

And there was me thinking you were the young chap in one of the shots Roders!

 

Strikes me they need some traffic control....!

 

They're just the same around town on their bikes, they get us club cyclists a bad name.
