Welcome to GC sonic. No idea about the grasshoppers, it's not the time of year for them. Or could they perhaps be hatching there???

May be someone like her next door neighbour has a pet that eats grasshoppers.

My brother has two water dragons and feed them GH OR Crickets and some times they escapes.

Are you sure that some one nearby has not got a pet reptile that feeds on crickets and these could have escaped its more likely to be crickets than grasshoppers they are not usually about at this time of the year, hope you don't end up with Jimbos brothers water dragons or a snake on your carpet

If you want to get rid of grasshoppers, you can try a jar with soapy water in it. The grasshopper flies into the vertical pane of glass and falls into the soapy water. The insect then sinks because the soap breaks the surface tension of the water. Grasshoppers may be attracted to the trap because of the smell of their dead ââ?¬Å?friends"...

About 10 years ago, when I was still living at home, I had tree frogs that ate live crickets. One day I dropped the box of crickets in the garden and they escaped. Since then, nearly every summer my parents feel like they are abroad as all you can hear are crickets chirping everynight!!! I am sure the ones that escaped have just carried on breeding year after year. So yes, as said above it is possible that a neighbour has them to feed their pets etc and a similar thing has happened!

a couple of years ago I had the same thing, after dark the crickets would start up just like they do in warmer countries.
I was hoping it was going to carry on, but last year I didn't hear them at all.
