My first garden

Hello everyone.

My name's Andy and i've just bought a house with a lovely little garden.

It's south facing so I get loads of sun (almost too much sun with the recent weather we've been having - not much shade), there's patio, lawn, hedges round the edge and flowerbeds beneath the hedges.
There's also plenty of space for additional pots / tubs / etc for when I want to plant new veg and herbs (I think those will be my thing).

I've got a few questions so fingers crossed I'll get them in the correct sections but apologies if I dont.

I lived on new road in sands for 4 years in the nineties. There are lovely summers to be had when the hot air blows down the thames valley
