Thanks Mike I wasn't sure what it was, it's stems are quite thin and spindly, does that still fit the bill?

It is a rescued rose that I got from Fran.

Its looking very good indeed - however it is not iceberg - which I have. The closest suggestion we had last year as to its identity was Windrush but I have my doubts on that. Here's my picture of the rescued rose taken last year.

Thought it was mine but wanted to make sure :D It certainly looked good for you too. A neighbour has one the very same so I'm going to knock on their door and ask! ;)

I look forward to hearing what she says.

Off to the Lakes for a few days - a bit chilly, but looks OK weatherwise after today.

I enjoyed the few hours we had of sun shine - but left early cos the rain was just too persistant and cold. Went to Norfolk but I took the rain with me - so a less than productive week.

If Kandyfloss went last week, I hope she had better weather. Its difficult to enjoy the lakes when the scenery is obscured by driving rain and very low cloud. Mind I did have a few hours of fair weather and went to my most favourite valley - Langdale - and managed a few piccies.
