This time its not my bunnies!

But appears to be teeny tiny caterpillars? I've found a few on the underside of the leaves - can't see anything else, there are holes cut out of the of leaves and the bottom leaves are practically munched away!

Can I get a spray or something to get rid of them - although not keen on killing the blighters, assuming that it is the caterpillars that are eating it. I've picked the ones I've found off - is this enough or should I get a spray or something?

(btw - complete novice when it comes to roses/gardening!)

    Thanks all!

Hi SOG, my mum has had the same problem, all the leaves on her rose plants have been completely eaten by catapillars. If anyone has an answer I will pass it on to her

Hi guys. You could try Provado (ultimate bug-killer). Honestly, I don't work for that firm. :D I've found that it worke effectively for all kinds of bugs. It even worked on the "Scale" insects on my Cammellia and the only thing that had worked before that was Malathion. Apologies to all the "Organic" guys ;)

I had terrible problems last year with caterpillars and have sprayed my roses with weak washing up liquid and water every day this year and don't have any at all. COuld be a coincidence, or they don't like soap so have kept away!It also keeps the green/black fly away too!
