I have an Iceberg in my garden it has come into bloom nicely but it has got rather thin stems, to the other roses, they are about 5mm thick where the others are at least 10mm thick, is it ok or is there something wrong?...

Hi Maurice and welcome, mine's the same. I don't think they have particularly sturdy stems, I had one before which was the same as the current one. The flowers are a lovely colour though. You might find giving it a support would be helpful and don't forget to feed it.

Thanks Celia & wiseoldowl, I'm glad it is alright, [IMG] as you might have noticed I'm not a lover of gardening, I've hated it since I was a kid as I never got anything right now I've retired I have the time to potter around and try things out...... [IMG]
