Having seen my pics online, John insisted I take photos of his! No names I'm afraid but here's a few of them...

    #1 Rhapsody in blue (definite)
#2 probably Golden Showers, does it gradually fade to creamy white and is it a climber?

Last one of second set could be Masquerade.

    Had a dig around!

    #4 Evelyn Fison
    #5 Great Expectations

    Can't see any other labels!

The yellow isn't a climber, Mike and John doesn't remember it fading last year, but he has moved things around - we'll keep watching!

Another possibility for the burgundy rose is Burgundy Ice. The white flashes are distinctive.
Are those labels on the plants? I think Evelyn Fison is the red one, and Great Expectations is the pinky peach no.4.
The Orange/Apricot looks like Whiskey, and a suggestion for no. 5 is Josey Whitney.
They're all lovely! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Sounds like I'm wrong about the yellow, I have 3 Golden Showers and all fade within a couple of days and they are supposed to climb, though one of mine is reluctant to do so.
I'd agree with Liz on Evelyn Fison and Great Expectations and Whisky, Josey Whitney is a fairly recent introduction by Harkness and does look a better match than Masquerade.
    Cheers MIKE

Hi, Another match for the red and yellow one is Tequila Sunrise:
    http://www.britishroses.co.uk/roses_az_t.htm

I've no idea about the yellow one, there are so many and without knowing more about it I wouldn't like to hazard a guess. The same goes for red roses, but the label matched! as for the amber/orange one Whisky Mac looked OK but so do Harvest Fayre, Indian Summer, and Glenfiddich. These all have semi double flowers and about the right colour according to where you look.
As for the first one, I suggested Burgundy Ice because I understood that Rhapsody in Blue had a pronounced blue tone, and many of the pictures suggest it is more two toned, whereas the one shown looks single coloured from the front. I haven't got Burgundy Ice and my Rh.B has buds but no flowers yet.

Thanks Folks - John is very impressed with my new online friends!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The only 2 labels I could find on the plants (amongst the rotted manure I'll point out!!) were Evelyn Fison and Great Expectations. I have a shot of the entire rose patch but not uploaded yet - watch this space. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
