Hi all, bought this rose last year, called perpetual blue, it was not perpetual by any means, just the late spring flush and done. However it was its first year and a ratheer dry one at that.

It also takes a while to get blue, like this ...

opened this morning, beautiful colour but hardly what I call blue

This one opened yesterday, still not quite blue?

It is supposed to be a perpetual equivalent of Veilchenblau

Not a lot, not too worried though as the colour on opening is glorious, that deep velvety red; I was just a little annoyed that it does not live up to its name as yet.
    Cheers MIKE
