    It has taken me six hours over the past weekends to trim this baby!..But I know it will be worth every thorn snag when she blossoms :cool:

    Actually Marley none this year thanks to my new leather gloves and overalls! :D

    The signs are original finger boards broken off by Council chain flail hedge cutters! :mad:
    I had no choice but to liberate them :D

    hi Pal, so thats the shed where you keep all kinds of old stuff, or gadgets of bygone days. well hidden in the summer with trailing flowers.

    Love the snowdrops, and boy of boy that rose is spectacular. I don't envy you that job of pruning, but no doubt twill be worth it.

    It looks as rampant as my Paul's himalayan musk - let me know where you bought your gloves from!

    We neglected to prune ours for several years and it was a monster of a job, now we try to do a little each year and that seems to work.

    Gloves from Glazing supplies. Leather and Gauntlet style...They stop glass slashes and stabs so thorns are no problem and the wrists are safe too!... ;)
