Nature reserve

    In there garden area of the reserve roses or standard roses have been mentioned .

    Can anyone recommend a favourite or a climbing rose scented of course.

    My favourite climber is Compassion,Fantastic scent,10 out 10 on the scent scale

    Can I suggest Alberic Barbier, it's a climber and has cream flowers which have a pinky tinge, I can't say if it is scented but it is a favourite. Also Seagull if you want a particularly vigarous climber, this has masses of flowers.

    The last photo is going to changed in to a potting shed with benchs for a hands on demo etc.

    Did not have time for photos of part of the nature reserve just a few to let you see this is going to be a big project.

    This is another erea of the reserve which will be transformed.

    It certainly is going to be a big project, Scotkat! Is it all going to be done by volunteers? :eek: :eek: :eek:

    There is one employed on the reserve that I have heard of as its an educational project as well they get horticultural students for hands on and students from Princess truss there is a scheme that students from around the world can interact with this.

    Plus general public like me that has an interents that can pass on.

    At the moment its funding is charity based and the farm has been donated as like polytunnel.

    Just had mail been help up with polytunnel going up.

    Also they have ben looking for a cheap source of daffodil bulbs,but when they get shall get a call to help plant at least I am going to soon be involved so pleased.

    Its a misserable wet day here.
