Have you tried your nearest supermarket...I seem to recall there was one in Berwick Street, Soho, at least years ago when I worked there. Or is there no one on the Berwick Street market selling garden stuff?

Sorry, it's a chain of supermarkets - Co-operative. Usually quite small (although only in comparison to the mega giants that Tesco insist on building).

I wouldn't go buy seeds in Central London, I just don't see it as a a seed place:lollol:and if they have any, they are probably seeds for tourists...
If I would live there, I would use ebay. It is maybe a matter of waiting one or two days longer to have the seeds delivered, but a lot of them come from nurseries or enthusiasts.

    Not used them.

Just thought of another place - there are Robert Dyas shops all over the West End (certainly off the main streets). Why not try one of them?

Contrary to what some people here seem to think, there are gardeners in Central London, even if it's only a window box!

I love Robert Dyers, they got everything. Bought my first grape hyacinth bulbs there as a kid for 1p each.

Asked for a geological hammer there, as I needed one for skool geology trip, the assistant dropped to the floor laughing. When he'd recovered, he apologised & said they'd opened a box from head office that had a geological hammer in it only yesterday. They'd all said, who the hell is going to want one of those around here in a million years, then i walked in
