On my smallest, most dead looking green bean plant.... what do you see.....

    (hopefully you can see them?!)

Pods!!!! How do I know when to pick them? And is there a specific way to pick them or just grab it and pull it (gently of course!) off the plant?

I actually grew a vegetable!! hehe I'm proud as you can tell!

I have just been out to investigate all 7 of my plants (my toddler is in bed so I get peace to investigate!). And all 7 of the plants all have lots of teeny bean pods (are they called pods?!). Should they grow to a certain size before picking?

Congratulations Snowbaby. Looks like French beans to me. Mine are not ready yet.
You can pick them when you like but makes sense to let them get to a decent size.
You can cut them off with scissors if you like but I just nip them off between my finger and thumb nail.
    Enjoy your beans.
