Plant Sale

    Mrs shiney and I are organising a plant sale for the U3A on Saturday 27th May (next Saturday) at Little Hallingbury Village Hall (a few minutes from Bishops Storford and junction 8 on the M11 motorway). Entry costs 50p but includes a cuppa and a piece of cake. It is open from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m.

    The village is about a 20 minute drive from Chelmsford to the East, Hertford to the West, Saffron Walden to the North and Epping to the South.

    by coincidence , when the sale is finished (11.30) we shall be rushing away to get to a wedding in Somerset. Sorry, but I won't be able to bring any plants with me. :D

    Don't suppose you're also heading towards the Edinburgh area just after the wedding, Shiney? ;)

    It's a bit to far for me, too, I'm afraid - but good news for the purse!

    Have a good day down there - I'll be thinking of the area, fond memories of teaching in Hoddesdon ( :eek: :eek: :eek: )
