My in-laws went on a gardening tour of Italy - and loved it! I expect I could find out what firm they went with if you wanted to know, since M-in-l lives in the dungeon...

Sorry to take such a long time to get back with the info - blame an aging memory (mine, not m-in-law's - it was me who kept forgetting to ask her!!)

She went with this lot http://www.vjv.co.uk/themes/theme.html?dsid=28

She said they had a guide who was from Kew. Looking at the site just now, doesn't look like they're doing a garden theme at the moment, but I'm sure there must be other similar set-ups, like the coach companies. The ones I can think of at the moment are D+A Tours, and Urquhart Travel, but I'm sure there would be ones based in the south.

I've had a look at David Urquhart - they say they may be able to organise specific holidays for groups who want a particular theme - http://www.davidurquharttravel.co.uk/dut/DUWeb.nsf/pages/group.htm

But this seems the most hopeful thing - good luck!
