Wonder if anyone else has had similar experience to me? I used to grow a lot of vegatables years ago and used a lot of seed firms but had to give it up due to lack of land.
This January I acquired some land at my in laws, well actually rotovated one of father in laws lawns while he was out! So I went back to the old seed firms like I did before.
Dobies, the Organic Seed Company no problems at all. But Marshalls had quite a few things out of stock and delivery pending. I ended up getting the carrots for early sowing later than I wanted and the early leeks did not arrive until May. What has happened to this firm? Who wants seed for autumn maturing leeks in May? Also what do they do with most of that late delivery of seed? I cannot see myself using them for seed again. It took them about 3 or 4 deliveries to send all of my order.

I had a similar experience with mr. f's. Late delivery on fuschia plugs, that a) were tiny, b) not the complete order and C)they turned out to be all PHYGELEUS...........?
to be honest by all accounts of my customers and casual chat to others, there doesn't seem to be many comp. that haven't had problems with late deliveries, May - june instead of apr. It appears there have been nationwide probs. and now it's due to the heat wave in apr........well thats the new response to complaints. hmmmmmmmm!
