My hubbie has been bitten terribly by red ants which are everywhere, I mean everywhere in our lawn. All chemicals to get rid of them have been banned, and boiling water will kill the grass - any other ideas?? The powder hasn't worked, or the liquid, and I think that is for the black ones, as it does kill them. But the Red ones live on...

Thanks for that info. I will try the Boric Acid and Icing sugar trick, as it seems the best for our lawn. I presum I get Boris Acid in Chemist. But if not, then some of the other ideas in that website may work for us. Thanks again
