    HI AGAIN - SORRY BOTH SPRAYS MEANING FUNGICIDE AND INSECTICIDE- NOT BLEACH AND WASHING UP LIQUID.

    It could be just natural leaf loss at this time of the year, are new shoots appearing?

    No - no new shoots- surely not normal to drop so many leaves? I have another very mature one in the garden never seen drop of leaf like this ever. the worst this one does is revert to plain green. b4 cvm

    Well its beginning to look like maybe the honey fungus has got to it.

    Oh crikey! you dont think that I may have overdone the spraying with insecticide do you?
    normally with honey fungus the shrub takes on a thirsty look as if it needs water - this doesnt look like that, but very soon it wont have any leaves to turn downward. cvm
