just taken delivery of some plants I ordered but considering the weather is going to be possibly v cold over the next few days not sure if I should plant them.

plants are wood avens, red campion, cowslips, wild foxglove, marsh marigold and bugle?

I am on heavy clay and where I am planting them is usually very wet but am hoping to incorporate some grit as well but not sure if i should leave it, plant them and fleece them or what!!

Difficult to say really, if the plants look a bit soft, then I would wait for more spring like conditions.
Maybe leave them outside in a sheltered position in their pots.

Bob, if the trachy was outside where you bought it, then I'd plant it anytime now.

Try leaving it until wednesday. The cold snap should end then. (according to Metcheck) [IMG]

All native and should be hardy; depends how they have been raised - any info from the nursery. I would be tempted to stick them in but then I'm in the sunny southwest.
