    Hi all

I have a Fort wheel barrow, some how the wheel (not the tyre) has been damaged, any ideas where I might get a replacement?

I have checked on the web only to find that a wheel will cost nearly as much as a new barrow.
    Can you help?

PS. - have you tried straightening the wheel? If that's what's wrong, or bracing it, if it's broken??

I once fixed a wheel barrow with a wheel taken off an old mangled kiddie's bike that had been dumped. Looked a bit odd but it worked :D

Try asking at your local skip or council recycling depot - you'd be surprised what they have there.

    Thanks for the replies.

Nixonf23 - tried to fix the wheel but its moulded plastic not easy to repair.

Will look into the other ideas.

    Cheers

Just as a follow up to this, the Screwfix spare wheel is £12.99. Reference is 20600.

    Description as follows:

    Pneumatic wheel 360mm

diameter 360mm. Fits most wheelbarrows. 100kg load rating. Rubber tyre inflates to 2.0bar. Bore size 25mm.

We've used Screwfix for years - never had any complaints!

    Hope that helps :D
