    Hi all,

Can anybody help? I've moved into a new house and I have a shrub that I don't recognise. It might be something really common but I'm fairly new to gardening!

    Thanks for looking!
    Paul

hmmmm?... I can see them. Maybe the image hosting site is a bit slow at the moment. If they don't come up soon I'll put them somewhere else and relink.

hope someone can help me find out what the shrub is!

    thanks,
    paul

Yes, looks like a weigela, especially if its flowering at the moment.

It doesn't need much! Just a bit of pruning to get into the shape you want once the flowering is over. I rather like it, and have a couple myself [IMG]

It is one of my favorite flowering shrub genera. It is a showy, reliable and easy to take care of plant. There has been a lot of breeding work and some of the new cultivars are outstanding.
