Another apple tree

Hi! Whilst planning the onslaught into my back garden, I thought I'd ask about my apple tree. Don't have a photo yet, but it's about to flower. Last year it gave 3 fruits - which is how I found out I had it - which were edible and quite tasty! Can the species be identified by it's flower or do I wait to see if the fruit is recognisable? It's hidden amongst some mature shrubs and a bit squat and crooked so I don't knoe if it's going to be included in future plans!!

 

For naming an Apple tree you need an expert who will want to see the fruits.

If its edible and tasty keep it, mind I would say that having 11 Apple trees wouldn't I.

 

Thanks Bluedun. I thought as much! Shame it's where it is or I would just leave be, but it's in the way of this week's idea! Perhaps I'll try working around it!
