I have 3 dragon trees all about 5 - 6 feet tall. I decided to give two of them some fresh air for an hour on the balcony - A week and a half later I brought them in from the cold only to find the long slender leaves started to drop off. a few days later I was leafless, so I decided to cut off the tops 6inches from each stem (about 3o of them) as I thought pruning them will help. The tops have now gone rubery and bendy. Is there anything I can do? If I have lost these two lovely plants.... could I make new ones from the one that is thriving?. As you can see I am only learning and I had better ask before I do any more damage. All help will be appreciated

Im no expert but in guessing that you have lost the plants. The problem when you put house plants outside for fresh air is that the air can be too fresh especially at the start of March. Its the difference in temperatures from warm to cold that is the main problem but the extra light intensity can also cause problems. Im not sure whether you can take cuttings from your healthy plant. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
