Some pretty little grasses have germinated and are ready to plant out. In order to get that nice clump effect, should I be planting them close together? I guess what I mean is, is a clump of grass a collection of seeds or just one that expands?

I think one seed is a single plant when it comes to grasses.
If you have several plants, the rule of thumb is to plant in groups of three or five.
    Odd numbers look better.

Oh dear - I guess I should have read up on that first then - I haven't counted how many have come through but it could be far too many for my garden!
