It's possible to take cuttings of deciduous and evergreen in this Genus throughout the year.
Those taken before flower buds form from the soft greenwood will root the quickest.
They will take about two to four weeks to take root and one to two years to flower.

My goodness, this is an easy one. My neighbour tore off a one foot branch around May before flowering I just stuck it into the soil in my garden, I watered it and it wilted then a couple of days later looked fine, I chopped off the wilted bits and chucked some water on it every now and again and it is going great guns - I hope it flowers next year. My advice just chop some off, stick it in the ground and keep well watered.

Apparently this is what my neighbours did two years ago and their's are now huge, in fact I am hoping mine doesn't grow that big!
