I thought best not get carried away in our 20 degree weather so I only planted ...

    Ipomoea, Crimson Rambler
    Ipomoea, Kniola's Black Night
    Agastache rupestris, Apache Sunset
    Geum, Blazing Sunset
    Nepeta transcaucasica, Blue Infinity
    Antirrhinum, Brighton Rock
    Eschscholtzia, California Poppy
    Papaver, Oriental Variety
    Papaver, Lilac Pompom
    Papaver, Waco's Orange Poppy Thing
... and, last but not least ...
Hr Oberschmidt's "Pretty in Purple" a still unidentified plant from Kedi-Gato

Had to do some weeding first in order to do the above, as all but the Geum, Nepeta and Hr O went directly in the ground ... all in the same place, my pink/orange rockery/border scattered and mixed in front of my fantastic Tecomaria capensis (bright orange) the beautiful Cercis siliquastrum (shocking pink), the Leonotis Leonuris (orange) jand the Callistemon "Flaming Fire"!

This area is already overrun with Oenothera speciosa, the pink Evening Primrose which madly seeds it's everywhere. It's second only for doing so to the Oxalis!

Hopefully some of the above will take and I'll be able to post a vision of pink/orange spendour! [IMG]

  I'll get my sunnies ready!!!! Sounds fab!!!!

Thanks for the Cobaea link.... very interesting... I have got Cobaea Scandens from Mr Fothergills, which says the flowers start green changing to cream then on to deep purple. I also read this evening that they need to be kept in the greenhouse until around July, otherwise it'll be too cold before they are ready to flower...

Well, my froo-it as I call it isn't ripening yet with all this 20 degree heat! The vine is still blooming and more buds are coming and it's now racing across the roof of the shed!

Honey Bee, if mine do ripen, there will be loads of seeds going if you have to start each year. I know dendro wants some.

When I opened my cobea, there were actually two sealed packets of seed inside and I only started 6 from one pack so have loads left over.

L-O-L That'll be super if you do get some seeds!! The packet does say they are tender perrenials, so if we get a mild winter, they may survive..... but if they do, I'll probably kill them off some other way!!!!

Just got home and checked the greenhouse... and my first seedling is up!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] only took 10 days, hope the other several thousand are following....

Yesterday,i planted First Early Taties,Duke of York. They`d been chitting for about 5 weeks in the GH but to me they looked just the same, except maybe a bit mottley.Time will tell i suppose...I also set the tomatoes away.Gardeners delight, which were lovely last yr and Tigrella(freebies)
    Cucumber-Telgraph-3
    Colliflower-All year round
    Leeks-Autumn Giant.
I was very pleased with myself and went to the pub last night......Today,with a hangover,I chucked all Mr.fizzes junk from the GH out, then i did the Onion Sets but can`t remember what they are(when i split the net bag they tumbled out everywhere)
Petunia- F1(freebies)seed so tiny i`m not sure if any actually made it to the seed tray
    Salvia-Blaze of fire(freebies)
Rudbeckia-Toto gold(freebies)and Nemophilla-5 spot, left over from last yr.I`m planning on using the 5 spot in hanging baskets.Anyone tried them?
