Have you got any old gardening books you dont use anymore and are just gathering dust somewhere. I am a collecter of old gardening books and will buy large or small numbers of books. Anything will be considered. My email address is [email protected]. Please e-mail me with any books you have and what price you would like.
    Many thanks
    Sam

I note that you have posted the same topic into 4 different areas and are willing to pay cash for large amounts of gardening books. Are you sure you are just a collector.

Sharpey. If you are genuine - I apologise - please do not take offence. It is just that some forums and newsgroups get overrun by spam, by people with a hidden agenda trying to either sell on e-bay, or buying items to sell. They often do this with mass postings.

Thankfully this forum seems to be surprisingly clear.

Anything really to be honest. The last book i have just read was the Adventurous Gardener by Christopher Lloyd (1983) copy. I loved the book. I prefer older books but there is no preference. If you have any good reads that you would reccommend to me that you will not be using anymore then that would be great. Or simply if you want to suggest some alternative books to read then that would be great too.
    Many Thanks
    Sam

    Sam,

I myself bought 'loads' of books last year from boot sales, in one day I bought possibly a dozen or so books ranging from 20 pence up to £1 for well illustrated hard backs.
