    As a latecomer to the discussion can I just add the thought that most water authorities have now changed from chlorine which dissipates with agitation but instead use chloramine which requires an additive to neutralise it.

    hi Thorrun, my pond is now more rain water than tap water so I dont have a problem with that. I change the filter system and my pond is now clear. [​IMG]
