Fantastic picks, I love your use of brick circles around your trees :gnthb:

Thanks for that, it's all about cutting down the work.
On one side the lawn is flush with the path, on the other I laid a line of block pavers down the edge of the grass. I can now mow over these pavers and the circles without having to edge the lawn afterwards, which previously also tended to make the border "creep."
I still have to use a strimmer to edge the grass on the path side, but it's much less work. As the bricks are all pointed up, I don't get those irritating tufts of grass that would otherwise flourish between them.

The koi I bought a month ago have put on a couple of inches already. They respond to a tap on the rail when I'm about to feed them. Though in fact if I just stand by the rail they are "there."

They circle like "sharks" until the food goes in.
Koi are very sociable fish, you never get any "bullying" newcomers are welcomed.

But it's "every man for himself" when the food goes in!

These are the little flowers on our olive tree in a pot on the patio. I guess it's too much to hope for any olives!

No reason why you shouldn't get olives. The way the weather is going they should ripen OK as well. :thumb:

Lovely garden doghouse, and I wish my patio was as big as yours what a lovely space for plants and eating out in this lovely weather.
