Cabbage White butterfly

    In summer, is there anything i can put on my cabbages etc to stop cabbage white butterfly landing and laying egss?

    you could try some net meshing would need to have small holes to stop the flutterbys getting in.

    i use old nets that my mother gave me they work well but a few always get in ,i also grow cabbages with realy tight heads that seems to keep the blighters to the outside leafs .

    thanks. i may make a mesh cage of some sort.

    do they only lay there eggs on cabbages, not lettuces?
