Can anybody tell me how good Chinese Wisteria - Wisteria Sinensis is i.e any other specific requirements?
I would love this on the front of the house, which it south facing and Im in Cornwall so don't tend to have really bad winters.

    Chinese Wisteria - Wisteria Sinensis
Fabulously fragrant, pea-like, lavender-blue flowers which hang majestically from bare stems between May and June. This is a brilliant, twining, deciduous climber thatâ??s renowned for its superior fragrance and flower colour. Ideal for training over a strong pergola, archway or arbour, itâ??s resistant to pests and diseases and will withstand the toughest of winters. Its twisting stems also make it a great choice for scrambling through large trees, where the stems will wrap themselves around the trunk producing a fabulous, colourful display during the summer. Fresh green foliage starts to emerge in mid-summer, just as the flowers are starting to fade. A spectacular, maintenance-free climber thatâ??s perfect for the most modern to the most traditional of gardens.
