End of 1yrs Blueberrry

I have 2 healthy Blueberry bushes growing in separate containers but have not had any fruit.

Only 1yr old how long do you think it will before any sign of fruit?

 

Hi Scotkat, I have a blueberry which I bought last year and have had fruit this year, it can take up to 3 years for them to fruit and then they will fruit each year, they are lime hating plants, and I feed with Seaweed plus iron, in the Spring which you can buy from your local Gardening Centre and just follow instructions. Thankyou BB will do that in Spring they are in my greenhouse in containers.

And here was me thinking I would have had fresh blueberries at breakfast ready to pick.

 

Scotkat, did you have them in the greenhouse all summer?, as I keep mine outside all year round, in winter in a sheltered place in the garden.

 

Yes they are in greenhouse bearing in mind it gets colder with us although today like a summers day just beautiful for a holiday Monday and school hols.
