    Hi gerkin. It actually could be a pumpkin. They are not all orange and spheroid. Check this out on Wikipedia.

    Does look a bit marrow like, does it resemble the picture on the seed packet?

    I have a plant that i have grown from the seed of a pumpkin last year and it looks identical so i was presuming they would turn colour later.

    Gotta say gerkin, it dont look much like the picture on the packet.
