Hi, I have grown some first earlies in a large container. Most of them are flowering now so when can I start to harvest them? Also, I am growing runner beans in a large pot. They are starting to flower now so when do I start to fertilise them?

    Thanks in anticipation

    hi brian
i have grown my first potatos in tubs/pots this year and mine have flowered and still in flower i put a glove on and had a doodle round to see if i could feel any,

i found quite a few so emptied them out and got lots ,

they should be near enough ready now but just have a feel about if they feel big enough then harvest the lot or just enough for what you need.

as for the beans im not sure as mine got eaten by snails :0( but sure someone will advise.

happy potato hunting (finding them is the best bit)

I've harvested all my earlies already, and am eagerly awaiting the maincrop King Edwards!
