Hi I have 12 peppers in the greenhouse, they constantly are drying out although I water them 3 times a day. They are in large pots, can I put them outside as I think greenhouse is too hot?

I had some peppers last year and put them outside they did fine, just like toms do fine outside. The greenhouse gets far too hot.

Yes pop them out. You can always take them in again. Chillies will grow outside in the ground no prob but sweet peppers although they will grow will not do quite as well.
Twelve peppers seems rather a lot!!

Is your greenhouse shaded? I put the white shading stuff on for the summer.

Haven't shaded mine and it gets very hot indeed. Must do it soon! Peppers are doing fine but a bit slow this year for some reason.

My peppers are just beginning to flower, do they need pollinating or can they manage themselves?

I had to take my peppers out of the greenhouse as it was too hot.

The unsettled weather outside was not a good environment either, so now they are on the kitchen windowsill, and are doing fine.

I have not pollinated our peppers flowers and there are green peppers growing and the pepper plants are outside on our 13th floor balconey which gets quite windy.
