    Hi,

I have 2 strong strawberry plants that I purchased from a nursery, there are no strawberries on them yet

Should I plant them outside now, or should I keep them infront of a heater?

    Thanks

Sam I am most impressed. You are interested in gardening at such a tender age,(baby) I waited until I was 32(old git).Give them a tomato feed and don't worry too much as like most things in life, they will take care of themselves. Let us know how you get on(I feel like you are a little adopted gardener!) :D Bye from Anth Pretend yummy mummy

    Hi TeaTree,

I popped mine in a hanging basket a month ago but a week ago we had a cold, wet and windy spell.
I stuffed as much hay (bought cheap from the village shop, a roll of rabbit stuff) around them as the leaves were starting to go black which I think is where frost damage starts before it hits the fruit.
Today was nice again and the plants are fine with the fruit undamaged.

Hi TeaTree, same age as me when I started! I like to let the runners develop and weight down the first and second lot of shoots with a small stone in a 3" pot of compost. Plants for free!!
