Hi sammy, If they have Mosaic virus you should burn the plants and disinfect the greenhouse. If not you sre likely to infect anything you grow in the greenhouse. Sorry to put a dampener on things. David.

    Hi Sammy...

have you shaded your Cucumbers from the sun in the Greenhouse????
I have had to put shading up in mine. I am only a short way along the SUNNY ( [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] ) SOUTH COAST to you, and all my plants in the greenhouse were scortching!!! In previous years, I have lost Cucumbers this way, as they really do not like full sun under glass. It has been regularly over 100F in there this spring. Even an old sheet in front of the plant will do.

... but if it is definitely virus, then do as Dai says.... :(

thanks, everyone, making the decision is a dificult one it is like have a pet put down!!!! i would like to believe i have just burnt them but even that sounds careless! so as it aint all over the rest of the leaves and just the first i am gonna stick with it. the old saying ignorance is bliss thing, or should i go with the prevention is better than cure!!! golly i just dont know what to do.

Personally I wouldn't take the risk I would get rid of the plants and start again....You still have the time and the new seedlings will soon catch up
