I have a particular un-named tomato plant growing that I would like to grow again next year. Any tips for saving seed?

Eg, how should they be prepared, should they be refrigerated, should they be sealed with dessicant granuals or just thrown into a paper bag and left on a windosill?

Hi Frogesque, If you have a greenhouse just keep one of the mature fruits and let it dry out naturally. When it is dry remove the seeds and keep in a dry dark place until next spring. Alternatively, you can sow a mature tomato, whole, in a large pot of dry compost, keep it dry and don't water it until spring when you want the seeds to germinate. If you have plenty of fruits you could try both methods.
