Anyone else got tomatillos? I have got some lovely big plants with lots of flowers, but no fruit setting yet. Can't recall having to do anything special last year- any one else's plants setting fruit?

I don't even know what a tomatillo is, but one kind soul on this very site advised me last year when I was having a no-fruit problem with aubergines to help nature along by getting busy with a kids paint brush, to get pollen from flower to flower, so you could give that a go?

hi,i thought i was doing ok with my toms up until recently.the leaves are turning brown mottled and its working its way up the whole plant.i took drastic measures this morning by removing all affected parts(they have chance to have keeled over when i go to water again this evening)ive got greenback on some of them and ripe toms that have split!

I had the same problem with my Tomatillo's last year and I was told by someone on GC to give the stems a gentle tap in the morning, I started doing this and what do you know it seemed to work!Once they started fruiting that was it, got a bit too many actually  I ended up selling them to the local Fruit Shop.Hope this helps elaine.
