I warned my boys about dodgy internet sites, but I forgot to mention courgette porn.

Sorry to interupt this episode of 'Courgettes In Love', but I'm wondering if someone can help?!!
My courgettes are growing really well, considering I'm a complete novice, but I've noticed fairly large clusters of what look like black dots, on some of the plants, especially on the flowers.
They look like insect eggs, but I haven't a clue. There are a few ants milling around, so could it be something to do with them?

    Thanks!

It sounds like blackfly, usually they aren't a problem on courgettes unless you have other susceptible plants like beans nearby.

The ants farm the aphids like moo cows, if you look closley you'll see them tending the herd.
