That's a new use for plastic bottles. Although it would be no use in my garden. We are plagued by squirrels and I'm sure the little bu**ers would wreck it in minutes!

I plan to try using my larger plastic bottles as mini bell cloches when I'm ready to plant larger seedlings out in my new allotment. Hsa anyone tried this before with any success?

I just realised someone's already mentioned the bell cloche idea on a previous page - at least I know it works!

The bottles I use as cloches are those water ones that go with the coolers, they're a decent size and strong.
    Dont tell anyone though. :D
