    Hi everybody

I have a huge Conference pear tree in my garden (30 feet or more) but it produces very few fruit and they are all way way out of reach

can do some drastic pruning and end up with a smaller more productive tree ?

    Thanks for the advice

    Ston

    Hello Ston

How many pear trees do you have?

Do your neighbours have any pear trees?

    Best wishes

    Gerald.

Am not too well up in pear trees - but I inherited one when I moved here and it seemed to take hard pruning very well. But it didn't seem to have any effect on the fruiting. For fruit you need flowers - what kind of flower display are you getting in the spring?
