PURPLE SPROUTING BROCCOLI???

    hi all can anybody tell me if you can eat the big leaves of purple sprouting broccoli?? Also can you eat the bottom leaves when waiting for your sweetheart cabbages to grow??? am getting impatient and have no veg for tea lol! many thanks em

    Yes no probs, some are a bit tough but with a good cooking they soften up

    I have also eaten cauliflower leaves and brussels leaves...all brassicas and all edible

    I eat anything off a purple sprouting broccoli! (except the blackfly!)
