My lawn could very badly do with another last cut, but the position its in makes it always seem too wet at this time of year.

Is it ok to cut it like that? I am more worried about is it safe to use the electric mower under those conditions than the lawn itself, as its not a prize lawn by any means!

    Any advice welcomed please.

I'll probably give my lawn one last cut before the winter sets in. It's still pretty mild up here if a bit wet.

you'll be fine, there is no direct contact twix the electric motor and the wet grass. Obviously make sure there are no bare wires on your lead etc.
I mow mine every week summer and winter.

If you use an earth leakage circuit breaker Angelica you should be safe enough cutting damp grass. The motors on lawn mowers are pretty well shielded, though I wouldn't use one in rain.

i agree with Dave providing you have a circuit breaker there is no risk, example i had one of my fish ponds pump crack open but the breaker stopped any fish fom being killed

Thank you all so much for this great advice, I will do it! I do have a circuit breaker.
Have been pondering this for weeks, I'm most grateful.
