THE MASTERS plot ,a new begining

think im winning the battle.
since ive found the devil weed and dug it out my plot not one sprig has come up in my plot since. reason im saying im wining is i put the soil i took out into bags. guess what the mares is comming up in the bags. so yes all the soil in the bags is going to be desposed of(in a propper manor of course).

with the mares under control (hopfully), the next Mition is to stop the Foxes digging up my veg.
Apparently , i dont know wether it was a joke> if i was to get LIONS wee only the male wee will do. the Foxes will not go any were near your plot if one sprickles the wee around the perimiter of the plot .
So if any one has any LOINS WEE going spare (Pee Pee for posh peeps) please get intouch.
i have also been told that RHINO dung is better than horse poo .

 

Master, consider an electric fence, you can get the bits from a farmers merchnts, use short lengths of cut roof batten with insulated pig tails screwed in and the wire running at 9" height.

I have just read this thread from start to finish and I must say I'm truly impressed and I also think that I will start to put in a lot more work in both my gardens and the veg. plots.

Colin your little pumpkins are wonderful are you going to rest the fruit on anything to stop them getting spoiled by the soil (underneath them) or doesn't that happen?

As you can tell I haven't a clue what to do regarding pumpkins!:D

the wife has helped out and has lost, at a guess some two stone since we got the lotty . that in itself is worth every penny and efort on the allotment . im actualy getting back the woman i feel in love with 21 years ago
