    Hi there,

I've been given this pod by a friend and doing the freeze, defrost, freeze, defrost bit, when i get the seed out can anyone tell me do i pop it in the propagator with erichaceous?

It's my latest project and i don't want to make a hash of it

Any advice would be most welcome

If it were me AG, I would just use potting compost as I don't know if they require anything other than that. Though I wonder if sieved leaf mould should be added the the compost.
I realise they need ericacious compost when older, but as for the seeds exact needs I know not.

    [IMG] Hi Paula,
Yes do use ericaceous compost & also only use rainwater for watering not tap water. I have germinated 2 so far. Quite slow growing & may not flower. I was told it would take a few yrs before they flower if they are going to. Mine are just lovely small bushy green plants....!! [IMG]

    [IMG] Good Luck..!!
