Passion Flower

Hi me again, as a beginner can anyone tell me whether to cut my passion flower back now or in spring, it didn't flower this year, any ideas to encourage flowering next year? :eek:

 

Hi Rosie, spring is the best time to cut back, February or March. Is it indoors or out? though i don't think you have to, i feed mine in the summer - mine are indoors. If it's outdoors i think the frost will cut it back for you!! There are lots of threads about P's on here, with lots of good advice. :D

 

Yep definitly spring, after the winter frosts have done there worst.
Then you can cut out any dead wood and cut back to good strong stems.

 

Thanks for the advice, its outside but we have fairly mild winters on the Island, but i'll leave well alone till spring.
