Hi, I'm new to gardening and absolutely love the range of colours on this bush. It's been quite slow growing over the past 3 years but has kept a wonderful shape. Can anyone let me know what it's called?

    Thank you, Dave

;) Can you get a closer pic of the leaves & stems ?? It certainly is a nice shaped bush. Looks a little like a large Bonsai... [IMG] Seriously a closer pic would help, otherwise it sort of looks like a couple of kinds.. [IMG]

Thanks for the last reply. Looking at details on the internet this definitely appears to be an Azalea. Does anyone know what variety?

Really does look like one of the evergreen azaleas to me too.
Thanks for resizing Dave. Us poor Dialup peeps do have bother with big images. We are in the 2% who will never have landline based Broadband!

[IMG] Hi Dave, & Welcome to the site.. [IMG]
Yes I think I would say it was an Azalea too. There are so many varieties. I think you will have to do some reasearch as to what variety. When does it flower & are the bloom scented? It would seem to be happy in it's environment & is also one of the smaller varieties by the look of it. Maybe "Pink Diamond" You could try these links. http://www.dungevalley.f9.co.uk/rh&azcat.htm

Sorry I can't be more specific. I would also give it a good feed with ericaceous feed as well ti help it to get ready to flower. [IMG]
I'm sure someone else will have some ideas too. . [IMG]
